This website, zerotracebivvy.com, is operated by Zero Trace Pty Ltd, trading as Zero Trace Bivvy ("we", "us", "our"), an Australian company. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit our website, place a pre-order, contact us, or interact with us on social media (including TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn).
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you have any questions, contact us at jamesfrawley@zerotracebivvy.com.
We only collect what we need to run the business and fulfil your order:
You can browse our website without telling us who you are. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, and our products and website are not directed at children under 16.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
We share personal information only with the service providers who help us operate, and only as much as they need:
Each of these providers handles your information under its own privacy policy and security standards.
Our website uses Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal information or track you across other websites. It gives us anonymous totals such as page views, referring sites and the country and device type of visitors.
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, and our payment providers may set their own cookies during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
We may advertise on social media platforms such as TikTok and Meta. If we add an advertising pixel or similar tool to our website in future, we will update this policy before doing so, explain what it collects, and tell you how to opt out. When you interact with our content on those platforms, the platform's own privacy policy applies to the data it collects.
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia — mainly in the United States (Stripe, PayPal, Netlify, Google) and the European Union (Plausible). We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers with strong privacy and security protections.
Your information is held in the secure systems of the providers listed above and in our password-protected business accounts. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Financial and order records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires (generally five to seven years), after which they are securely deleted or de-identified.
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom or another region with its own privacy laws, you may have additional rights, and we will honour requests made under those laws.
To make a request, email jamesfrawley@zerotracebivvy.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy as our business grows. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
