The Origin
Shoulder-high grass, all night on the move. By the time the bivvy was down, everything was already damp. Fabric pressed straight against the face. Bugs biting through the material. Woke up with an eyelid swollen shut.
That's where this started. Not in a product design studio — in the field, on a night where the kit failed the person using it.
The question that followed was simple: why does a bivvy have to be a compromise? The inflatable air-gap was the answer.
Why It's Different
The inflatable layer creates a dead-air thermal barrier between you and the outer shell. No fabric pressing against your skin. No moisture transfer.
Use the inflation sack to fill the air-gap layer in about 30 seconds — it holds its shape all night. No poles, no guylines, no assembly. When you're wrecked at the end of a hard day, setup time matters.
Designed to sit alongside your sleeping bag or replace it in warmer conditions. Pack size targets a 3L stuff sack. Carries like kit, not like luggage.
High-tenacity outer laminate designed for Australian conditions: dust, rain, dew. The air-gap keeps condensation off your bag when the temperature drops.
