Field-Proven · Built for the Backcountry

No Poles.
No Pegs.
No Compromise.

You already know what happens when gear fails in the field. The Zero Trace Bivvy was designed by someone who's been there — an inflatable air-gap shelter that deploys in 30 seconds and disappears into your pack when you're done.

The Origin

Born from a bad night in the field.

Shoulder-high grass, all night on the move. By the time the bivvy was down, everything was already damp. Fabric pressed straight against the face. Bugs biting through the material. Woke up with an eyelid swollen shut.

That's where this started. Not in a product design studio — in the field, on a night where the kit failed the person using it.

The question that followed was simple: why does a bivvy have to be a compromise? The inflatable air-gap was the answer.

Why It's Different

Designed around the problems.

🌡️

Air-Gap Insulation

The inflatable layer creates a dead-air thermal barrier between you and the outer shell. No fabric pressing against your skin. No moisture transfer.

⏱️

30-Second Deploy

Use the inflation sack to fill the air-gap layer in about 30 seconds — it holds its shape all night. No poles, no guylines, no assembly. When you're wrecked at the end of a hard day, setup time matters.

⚖️

Target ~380g

Designed to sit alongside your sleeping bag or replace it in warmer conditions. Pack size targets a 3L stuff sack. Carries like kit, not like luggage.

🌧️

Weather Sealed

High-tenacity outer laminate designed for Australian conditions: dust, rain, dew. The air-gap keeps condensation off your bag when the temperature drops.

🦟

No Mesh on Your Face

An integrated inflatable arch keeps the bug net off your face. You can actually breathe. The night that started this project had a swollen eyelid by morning — that won't happen again.

🗺️

Any Campsite

Tiny footprint. No guy-rope radius, no flat ground requirement. Rocky ridgeline, jungle floor, creek bank — if you can lie down, it works.

"I kept asking why a decent field bivvy had to be heavy, complicated, or a compromise. The inflatable air gap was the answer."
